Health Care

Every American deserves quality affordable health care. Although the Affordable Care Act is far from perfect, it would be a mistake to repeal it. Many of its reforms are making a tremendous difference for people across Connecticut, such as preventing insurance companies from denying coverage of pre-existing conditions, ending lifetime limits on coverage, lowering costs for small businesses, and ensuring that women aren’t charged more than men for the same level of care. In Congress, I’m working to make commonsense improvements to the law to make it work better for Connecticut businesses and families.
