Hello and welcome to my site. I am honored to be your representative and I look forward to working with you.
We are facing challenging times in our country, in our state, and in our communities. Job layoffs, high prices for food and fuel, mortgage foreclosures, loss of health care, and growing state deficits confront us every day. It can be easy to get discouraged. To give up hope. But, with energy, good ideas, and the "can do" spirit that our state is known for, I am confident that we can move things in a better direction.
I know that there are many good ideas out there, that people throughout our district and our state have creative ideas, have personal insight, and have the common sense to help identify ways that we can get government working for us. So I am asking your help - I am looking for 103 Great Ideas from the 103rd about how to turn the state around. By clicking on the link above, you can share your ideas, and help me take the wisdom of our district to Hartford. I will be featuring some of the best ideas every month on my site, and taking them with me every day as I work for you and for everyone in the 103rd. I will also be holding periodic "What's Brewing" events in each of the towns - beginning on Saturday, January 31 at Greenwich Coffee in Cheshire from 10 a.m. to noon - to help with any problems you may have, to hear your ideas, and to answer your questions.
I am optimistic about the opportunities for our state and our three communities. The people of Cheshire, Hamden, and Wallingford share the same fundamental concerns - we want a good life for ourselves, and a better life for our children. It is a privilege to be your representative, and to work to make that better future a reality.
